Today's dance brings back some classic moves but in new combinations for this beautiful song by Hillsong Worship called "So Will I, 100 Billion X."
The writers of this song drew inspiration from the famous story told by Yeshua (Jesus) in Matthew 18:12–13 who taught, “What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying? 13“If it turns out that he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray."
The song also looks at all of creation in awe, recognizing how it speaks and reveals in numerous, uncountable ways how wise, loving, and magnificent God is. He cares deeply for every detail of His creation, and His character is revealed in it and the fact that He does not leave even one of His children behind. All whom the Father has given to the Son will be rescued.
And we know that we are His sheep because as Yeshua (Jesus) said in John 10:14–16, "I am the Good Shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me, 15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16“I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd."
And he further states (John 10:27–28) “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; 28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand."
Let us rejoice today in this dance and the joy and comfort we have because of the faithfulness of our Good Shepherd. May we always listen to and respond to His call.
